Our firm is headed by the Lead partner and senior consultant who is responsible for overall coordination and programme implementation. He is supported by an array of professionals in different sectors and fields of endeavour which include health management, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, financial analysis and management, institutional development and programme management.

Edwin Ikhuoria

Lead Partner

Edwin has worked in the Development sector for the past 19 years, delivering very successful impact researches and development policy analysis. He consults for the Impact Evaluation Unit of the World Bank as a Field Coordinator and was the immediate past Nigeria Country Representative for the ONE Campaign, an international anti-poverty campaigns organization.  He has worked in various capacities across sectors in the fight against poverty. His research and advocacy work has focused on agriculture, food security, environment and international trade, for which he regularly engages Nigerian policymakers on pro-poor policies. 

His experience in socio-economic policy analysis and advocacy in public finance management, transparency and social accountability mechanisms for inclusive governance has seen him managing world-class data collection, analysis and reporting. As a trained Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional, he has designed, developed and implemented logical frameworks for various projects related to poverty reduction interventions in West Africa. He is an expert in conference facilitation and resourceful in capacity building for small business owners. He holds two Master’s degrees in Development Management from the University of Turin, Italy and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Azubuike Nwokoye

Managing Partner

Azubike is an astute development advocate and livelihood management professional with over 13 years national and international experience in campaigning, campaign coordination, campaigns coalition and alliance building. With specialized trainings on Agriculture and Social Sciences, he is a professional in agricultural value chain development programme designs, implementation, and monitoring and impact evaluation; fundraising and grants contract management, strategic project designing, gender, community mobilization and community participatory assessment, and policy dialogue/advocacy. His work cuts across youth development, creative communication and agriculture development for small scale farmers. He has worked with small scale farmers across the country, mobilizing, researching and advocating for their inclusion in Agricultural policy governance. He has worked with various researchers and evaluators to examine public policies in gender, health, public finance, agriculture and trade sectors.

 

Muhammadu Kabir Isa, Ph.D

Director, Governance

Dr. Kabir is an Associate Professor (Reader) at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and provides direction for all governance related projects. His over 27 years’ experience as an academic and conference facilitator as well as managing extensive research projects on and off-campus reflects in the excellent results seen in all the governance projects that he has been involved with. With various projects in public finance management, conflict resolution, humanitarian management and rural development, Dr. Kabir has demonstrated deep understanding of the political contexts in Nigeria and Africa and have translated this understanding into cutting edge solutions for project impacts. He has a Ph.D in Political Science from the Ahmadu Bello University and several international collaborative studies that gives him an outstanding profile.

Lilian Onyegbulam

Director, Agribusiness and Livelihoods

Lilian is an Agribusiness and Livelihood Expert who works from a gender-driven perspective with experience in food value chain management, impact research, capacity building and well known for organizing high-level agribusiness conferences. Her exceptional accomplishments demonstrate the depth of her experiences in agriculture with national, international organizations, the private sector and the academia. She has worked for multinational, government and private agricultural institutions including United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization (UNFAO) Headquarters Rome, Italy;  World Bank Group, Washington DC, USA; African Agricultural Technologies Foundation (AATF) Nairobi, Kenya;  Welcome2Africa International London, United Kingdom; International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA) Ibadan, Nigeria; Palladium Group – USA, Abts Associates – USA;  National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI) Umudike, Nigeria; and most recent, Department of Agribusiness and Management at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Nigeria. Lilian holds a Bachelor of Agriculture degree with a concentration in Agricultural Economics from Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Human Development and Food Security from the University of Roma Tre, Rome, Italy among many international certifications and training.

Dante Donati

Director, Data Services

Dante Donati is an Economist that is very versatile in data management and analysis with vast experience in the use of statistical and analytic software for data management and reporting. Using cutting edge data management and analysis techniques, he has worked on various research projects in Europe and Africa covering multiple sectors including health, behavioral change, social norms, agriculture and livelihoods. He has also focused more recently on Development Economics, Political Economy and the Economics of Mass and Social Media. He currently collaborates with the World Bank and various scholars on different projects on inequality, health, growth, terrorism, gender based violence and media and is currently a PhD candidate at Pompeu Fabra University, in Barcelona, Spain. He obtained his Master’s degree at Bocconi University, in Milan. He is an Italian national.

Ayodele Fasogbon, Ph.D

Director, Research

Dr. Ayodele is a development economist with work experience covering agriculture, social protection, social safety net, and health and environment in Nigeria and Tanzania. Ayodele has core expertise in project monitoring, impact evaluation, project beneficiary targeting, project design and management within a rich period of eight years. He has been working with the World Bank as a Consultant for about four years contributing to successful project design and delivery at national and sub-national levels. He has both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Agricultural Economics from Nigeria’s premier university – University of Ibadan, and a Doctorate Degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Fort Hare, South Africa. Dr. Ayodele is a team player, setting goals and achieving results within multicultural settings.

 

Maurice Idorenyin

Admin and Finance Manager

Maurice studied Accounting and because of his desire to go into business, he later took up another course in Business Administration, both with the University of Calabar and Dorben Polytechnic, Bwari – Abuja.  Passionate about administration, the move to business was a natural fit. He’s a well-groomed individual in the field of administration with up to date skills in the use of technology for carrying out business processes. He has been proven to adopt an entrepreneurial approach towards the implementation of effective solutions as it pertains to achieving set objectives whether as an individual or as part of a team. Working with several organizations since 2007, Maurice has had extensive experiences in Accounting, Business Management, Office Administration, Research and Subject Analysis, Report Writing and many more. He has also served with ONE Campaign as a ONE Champion, a group of selected individuals who work to support ONE Africa’s advocacy work in various campaigns such as the ‘Make Naija Stronger’ Health Campaign.

Philip Oluwayemi

Project Manager

Philip is a program management and humanitarian professional contributing towards the effective coordination of national and international development programs and the cessation of global poverty and hunger. With over 5 years’ experience in working with and managing donor-funded projects including working for organizations such as the Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH), advocating with international NGOs like the ONE Campaign, he is an expert in Research Project Management, Data Quality Assessment, Real-time Data Collection and Analysis, Program Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, People-management, and Public Service.

He has been involved in the development and testing of Survey instruments for various researches and coordinates enumerators on and off the field to ensure the highest data quality. He has directly coordinated over 5 field studies for national and international clients. Philip has a Masters’ degree in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies from the University of Ibadan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), in Nigeria

Joel Nsikak

Digital and Information Technology Officer

Joel is an entrepreneur, software architect, and accomplished engineer with 10 years of experience. He has consulted for both national and international agencies including the Federal Intelligence Bureau (FIB), Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) and the Department of State Services (DSS). In 2012, Joel founded Allied Technologies, a boutique software consultancy that innovates core technology for other companies. Allied Technologies has developed many successful products including a real estate brokerage platform for commercial real estate brokers.

Uchechukwu Ohuonu

Marketing Officer

Uchechukwu is a highly creative and multi-talented Cinematographer, Video Editor, and Graphic Designer with over 9 years’ experience in the media sector. Uchechukwu led large-scale logistics during the Impact Evaluation of the Social Norms Marketing Campaign in Northern Nigeria, a World Bank-managed project as well as other research assignments undertaken at Le’ Spatial.

Uchechukwu has shot and edited over 200 documentaries on tertiary education in Nigeria aired on NTA International, MITV etc.  He also consulted for the DIME team of the World Bank where he produced introductory videos used for community engagement and 132 community screenings. He documented success stories for the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). He has been involved in various empowerment campaigns for several NGOs including driving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and has shot many documentaries and films on child trafficking, girl-child education, water and sanitation, menace of cancer among others. He is proficient in the use of HD Cameras and professional editing packages like Adobe Creative Cloud CC, Photoshop, CorelDraw etc. Uchechukwu currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Abia State University, Nigeria.

 

Ayooluwapo (Ayo) Akinfenwa

Research Assistant

Ayo is a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to use initiative in problem solving. She graduated with a first class degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom and has ever since been proven to complete all tasks assigned to her to the best possible standard. Having also taken on various leadership roles such as founding and leading a pair learning scheme at her University, she has become adept in people management including oral and verbal communication skills. She is an expert in content creation for several businesses and has been involved in various community fundraising campaigns for both local and international organisations such as GHIEF Nigeria (an NGO dedicated to the empowerment of women and young children especially in the aspect of education) and Raleigh International (a sustainable development organization with 30 years of expertise in working through, for, and with young people).

 

Obichukwu Nwabueze

Project Intern

Obichukwu is an Economics and Social Development professional. During his service year, Obichukwu successfully registered 522 persons in 5 weeks for the Federal Government N-Power Programme while working in the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Economic Development, Manpower and Planning. He volunteered for Peace Field Initiative (PFI) – an NGO based in Akwa Ibom State that promotes peace in the society. Skilled in Project Planning, Research, Content creation, and Data Processing, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria.
